Advanced MS Group For $500k++ folks ONLY
Hey all,
I'm an advanced MSer and have been doing up to around $100k/month of MS for some time. Though it's a hobby I get really into it; I use some sophisticated (within reason) financial models as well as the support of my administrative team. I also take advantage of a variety of non-MS methods to generate additional quantities where applicable.
I'm looking for like-minded MSers (~$30k+/month or maybe $300k+/year) to swap stories with to advance further.
If you are either part of a small group like this, or would be interested in forming one, please PM me or post to this thread. Brief phone calls together should help us determine whether we're interested in collaborating and whether it should hopefully sound like fun!
I look forward to hearing from you.

No offense, but don't you see at least a little bit of irony in decrying "open forums"....while soliciting people in an open forum?
Advanced people have already moved off FT to private forums...but it didn't happen by posting this kind of thing on FT.

You do around $100,000 per month in MS, yet want to join a group that does $500,000 per month? HA! My suggestion would be to use that spare time to get a better job. That way, you do not need to MS so much

I'm in a small group of folks that each do about 450k per month. Sorry, it looks like we don't meet your criteria.

Hey all, I appreciate the humor! I forgot how FTers can be like a pack of hungry hyenas sometimes. ;-) I meant $500k/year or $40k/month as a guideline, since once you get above even $25k/month you're doing pretty great and should definitely have something to offer.
If you're actually doing $500k/month of MS? Geez, my hat is off to you but I'm not even sure what you'd do with it under most normal travel-related scenarios!
With regards to learning and being in private forums, I completely agree. I've developed most of my techniques pretty independently to date and haven't used flyertalk much in the past. I'm looking to potentially expand that.
Thanks for all the feedback.

Hey all,
I'm an advanced MSer and have been doing around $100k/month of MS for some time. Though it's a hobby I get really into it; I use some pretty sophisticated methods including detailed financial models for all-in costs as well as the support of my administrative team. I also take advantage of a variety of non-MS methods to generate additional large quantities where applicable.

Or do you really mean an excel spreadsheet with the following:
A1: 500
B1: 4.95
C1: =A1+B1
D1: =C1*0.05
E1: =D1-B1-0.35
F1: ? (you enter in how many you bought here)
G1: = E1*F1 (this would be your profit)
You also have an administrative team helping you do this (for $100K spending a month)?

You developed detailed financial models?
You mean an excel spreadsheet with the following:
A1: 500
B1: 4.95
C1: =A1+B1
D1: =C1*0.05
E1: =D1-B1-0.35

Lol, this is hysterical. I thought I took this game pretty seriously but some of you guys make me look like a pansy.
Hawk, the model I built is a bit more complex than that but yes it's only "pretty" sophisticated on a relative basis, it's certainly not PhD level or even summer analyst level (for anyone else like me who once lived life in a spreadsheet doing M&A work in New York).
