I think if the purchase is under a certain, they won't check your CC to see if it matches. and probably don't need to sign either.

I am pretty sure you can just swipe. and done.

So just buy something for about $25 or so.

I know Target, you do not need to sign if the purchase is $50 or under.

I don't even have Costco membership but my friend occasionally buys Costco GCs (aka Cash Cards) for me in $10 increments. That allows you to enter Costco w/o membership and if your purchase is over $10 you can pay the rest with cash/debit/AMEX.

Ya, I don't remember the amount, but in the past I've paid for my stuff with my credit card while accompanying my friend and using his membership card.

Yes, they will allow you to. Occasionally when my mom or MIL is visiting they will foot the costco bill on their own AMEX or debit card, even though we are using my membership card.

My experience has been that as long as you are with a member, and you are using an AMEX, debit card, or cash they dont care who pays.

Do you understand what "targeted" means? It means only certain customers can take advantage. Its obviously not targeted for Serve customers.

Mine has been that they want the member to be the name on the credit card used, cash is fine.

we received the offer on 3 of our cards. Hoping that they open it up to twitter so we can get this on the rest of our cards as well.

Blue - Yes
PRG - No
SPG Biz - No

1/3 is fine. I'm not even a Costco member... Interestingly the Blue is the one I've used most at costco in the past when I had a membership.

Got it on my MR and HHonors card. It's a sweet offer.

From Dan: People who have a primary Costco membership are never targeted for the $25 spend on secondary or primary AMEX cards. However people that have a secondary free Costco membership or don’t have a Costco membership are typically (though not always) targeted for the $25 Costco offer on both secondary and primary AMEX cards. So register your multiple authorized users.
