Does not work anymore, is dead..... what is the point to report 'not working'?

As of 08/25/2014, Bancorp cards (Vanilla Visa, OneVanilla, etc.) are rarely working first try for debit transactions at Walmart. There is no apparent geographical basis. Basically, it's a crapshoot.

Do not agitate a cashier or store and lose the ability to make these transactions in the future. Multiple failed swipes or transactions will likely increase scrutiny. You do not want that. It is best to stop using these cards.

Vanilla VISA defaulting to credit
As of 5/29/2014, at most Walmart locations, all Vanilla VISA cards issued by The Bancorp Bank are automatically recognized as credit. Most Mastercard have required a workaround for some time. The MoneyCenter Express (ATM, kiosk, Kate) is not affected by this change.

Take note noobies.

Quit thinking about luxurious vacations or flying high in the sky. Start thinking about improving your savings accounts instead.

I use the FLOAT money from different CC to accommodate this expense.
Do you have an end game? a plan to finally pay off these fees? or will they just grow forever?

Update

Kudos to all who suggested that I need to press cancel button after swipe. This process worked for me. Thank you all very much!

First thing I tried today after going to WM was to load my GB Card at Kisok. This was successful. This gave me some hopes that WM can STILL process OV as debit cards.

Then, I went to MO. There was a different cashier this time. I asked for a MO for $1999.02 (with 0.49*2 as fees). She said $2K please.
I tried to swipe my first card, and hit cancel. This time the screen was asking "$2000 need to be paid". But this was not successful, tried again and hit cancel. Then I got the screen where we SELECT ATM DEBIT.

Then, for my last $500 I was not able to get the above screen at all. I was bit scared as $1500 has already been approved and I was not sure, if the cashier can void my transaction at this moment.
After 4 successful failures, Finally I got the screem and MO. Yay Me!!

I just did a small talk with the cashier, asking if they have updated their systems recently. She said, probably yesterday night they might have upgraded some software on systems. This may have triggered this hit cancel thing. I have NEVER EVER PRESSED Cancel even once in my MS life till now and OV used to work like charm.

Sorry, If I panicked anyone here. My MS life was going smooth till now and all of a sudden this happened and I have no money to pay, so got scared a bit. In life all things will not go as we expect and we need to take this. Anyhow lessons learned. Thanks all again for suggestions.

Even if temporarily, it IS ok to leave the game for a few months just to improve your financial status or let the pending floats post back into your accounts. MS will still be here, you'll just temporarily have a lot more free time in your day not waiting in line at a WM MC.

This 'free travel' movement is not free. The bloggers who promote big travel for small money aren't necessarily correct, that small money can be material. All of a sudden you're now out $100+/week because of GC fees. That $100 was previously used to pay for rent. You're now paying rent via MO from CC's b/c you don't have the cash to pay for it out of your checking account, etc. Throttle back, pay down debt and yourself first. Vacations aren't fun if you can't afford to leave your point-redeemed room once you get to your destination flown on miles.

Month 1: $100 in fees. Oh ...., better float this.
Month 2: $100 in new fees + $100 in old rolled fees. Time to float again.
...
Month 12: $1,200 in fees. CC issuer cancels card, MS dries up, or some other incident. OP has $1,200 in fees that he floated and never paid. OP defaults, credit score tanks.

I currently don't have any debts in my life. Just that my paycheck is currently sufficient to my Rent, food , shopping and car insurance (& gas).

The only debts I currently carry in my life is these Fees. Once, I get some more hours in my job. All these will be cleared soon. Of course, This can be cleared by Cash portals. But I hate Upromise, they have not tracked few of my orders. this is a loss to me.

But any how, I am waiting for TCB, Befrugal, Upromise (only tracked amount) to pay me and All these will be cleared instantly.

You need to stop playing this game while you still can.

I completely agree with your statements. Sometimes, I really feel I am kinda addicted to this MS and all, and can't stop this all at once. I will get my debts off soon. Thanks

I think it is poorly worded, I think he means 2 x 1k money orders. He mentions his fees are .49 (I should be so lucky) and correctly in his statement he accounts for 2 x .49 fees.

C'mon Man! I wouldn't call giftcard fees debt although technically they are if you don't pay them off. Don't you have the Bluecash card? How are you not MSing on that card and making money? How are you not able to pay a couple hundred in fees a month? As others have pointed out your in way over your head. How are you buying thousands in GC but can't even pay back the GC fees? I mean are you using 1% cards to MS?

Sorry for this confusion.

MO 1 was for $1000
MO 2 was for $999.02
Fees $0.98
So Total = $2000

I meant, I intended to do this all in ONE Transaction.
