Does not work anymore, is dead..... what is the point to report 'not working'?
As of 08/25/2014, Bancorp cards (Vanilla Visa, OneVanilla, etc.) are rarely working first try for debit transactions at Walmart. There is no apparent geographical basis. Basically, it's a crapshoot.
Do not agitate a cashier or store and lose the ability to make these transactions in the future. Multiple failed swipes or transactions will likely increase scrutiny. You do not want that. It is best to stop using these cards.
Vanilla VISA defaulting to credit
As of 5/29/2014, at most Walmart locations, all Vanilla VISA cards issued by The Bancorp Bank are automatically recognized as credit. Most Mastercard have required a workaround for some time. The MoneyCenter Express (ATM, kiosk, Kate) is not affected by this change.

Same issue in NOLA
Tried two KATE and OVGC wouldn't scan. Machines here have been super slow last week though so hoping its a WM issue.

I went to wm this evening, while I am doing BP transaction at the counter, There was a guy trying Kate with OV. He held up the line for at least 15 mins, and after the 16th rejection, magic worked on the 17th time.
So it might still be working....

I tried yesterday and today at Kate and OV's won't work. I try to swipe each card 7 or 8 times. Too bad I didn't try 17 times !!!

I've gone to WM 4 times now with the same two VVs, trying 2 times each before using the Sunrise cards, and have had no success. I even tried the machine at the west side WM a couple of times, because I was there buying Sunrise cards and it wasn't broken -- no go there, either.
I'll try one more time and then I'll go to HyVee to get rid of them. Too bad, since OVs and VVs are so easy to get hold of.

Kate ( or who actually programmed it ) and some of Wally cashiers are amazing
Still i am not able to understand any logic how they work.
For Kate , the 10 minutes and 1999.99 limit
the 9 pin issue
the loud announcement ( of 500 where anything above 20 bill is suspicious )
how come machine / computer able to accept after 17/18 trial not first time ??

No for 4 cards 2 WM this afternoon and 4-5 swipes each VVGC.
