Get another Bluebird or Serve.
Learn to get money orders.
Get a different prepaid card like Go Bank that allows you to load via debit gift cards.
There are other methods, but those are the easiest and most generally applicable.

I'm at my Simon mall and there's actually a line to buy gcs. It's a madhouse I say. I'm third in line, but still. The mall itself is a zoo.

Data point - I was able to buy $9k in GC with chip and wife did for $7k. Actually this time they didn't ask to sign that form or check our ids. On the top rep said "Thats it"??

If they forget to check a box or have bad information then only bad things could happen. Last time I was in I noticed they transposed part of my phone number and I made sure they corrected it. They've called me previously because they forgot to have me sign the form. The last thing I want is for them to call a disconnected number or some one else saying ... is that.

You will probably want to be prepared to go back and sign the form. It is a requirement and could cause adverse impacts later on. I know this because it happened to me previously. If the card has a chip and the chip reader is working then they don't have a problem accepting $10k purchases. They don't want to hold the liability when a chip card is swiped.

Simon Mall Gift Card MO sale reversed
Tried to buy a money order today and it wouldn't go through. I looked at the card to see if it was the card and I saw this. Any ideas?

Looks like it tried to go through, failed and the funds were put back on the card.

This has happened to me lots of times while loading serve. I've been chalking it up as IT issues, try again tomorrow it will work.

Happened to me loading BB also. Then it worked later with the same card.

I tried to purchase 4cards - $500 each, and when it came to payment, I inserted a card, signed and after I pressed 'done' cashier saw 'signature is cancelled ' sign, and she had to abort the transaction. I tried single card and the same problem happened. Anybody else had this? Cashier told me that this is a first time she sees this and she was selling them all day long.
