I believe you can go through the Staples Rewards portal and get another 5% in rewards points, too. Physical gifts cards online are eligible.

They only sell $100 Visa GCs online...in-store, you can get $200

Then go use evolve with their current promo to offload these and earn another 5% off (for $100 gc).

Of course you can.. Almost all retailers' POS have the capability to split payment on multiple cards these days...

Are you sure you are in the right forum? Just about anyone I know would spend an extra $1 for another $100 in spending....unless you are using a non manufactured spend card...

Thanks for this info! I added it to my 2 Amex and 1 Serve cards. I plan to do the $100 GC online order. I can go through Upromise portal and get an additional 5% cashback. Never used the Staples rewards portal but I would rather hard cash anyways lol.

You can also go to the credit card site, where you see the amount you owe. At the bottom of the screen it says "offers for you."
So I have 4 amex cards, I could buy 2*200 cards, split the payment between four cards. Pay $14 in activation fees and get $80 back from amex. That's a $66 profit plus 400 points. Thanks for letting us know about this deal

The deal is also on Facebook if you are sync'd there. That's how I connected/disconnected the offers to my other 2 cards.

I did it via Facebook sync. Just Google Amex Sync facebook. Then you connect 1 card, add offers, disconnect. Connect next card, add offers, disconnect. Etc.
