Very few people have read this caveat on the CC's website...
Our system only allows Card Members to pay more than their current balance owed if it has been more than 30 days since their last banking information change or new bank account enrollment. If you enrolled your bank account or changed your banking information recently, this feature will be available to you once the 30-day period has expired from the date you have provided the new bank account information.
...and what they mean by current balance is Statement Balance. Those of us who maximize FICO by "minimizing" credit utilization tend to never/rarely have a Statement Balance, so therefore need to plan way ahead with ACH setting changes FWIW.

Sorry getting off topic, but: "Each report submitted to ChexSystems remains on our files for five years, unless the source of the information requests its removal or ChexSystems becomes obligated to remove it under applicable law."

Because I have BB do not qualify for Serve?
Emerald seems interesting. recently is VR loadable. I have regular adequate VR source no need to go to WM to buy MO. Bill pay cost $.95ea. not sure of the limits. U have one of these?

What's the best/safe way to pay back SM debt?

Most of my MS was charged on Amex card.

Having several ways to pay, which one do you recommend?
1. Pay Amex bill by using BB online bill pay
2. Write BB check to Amex
3. White BB check to myself and deposit to my checking (BOA/chase) , then bill pay from there.

Please share your idea ams suggestions. Thank you.

Best way is #1. Why add the bank if you don't have to?

You forget option 4.

#4) pay other bills via BB bill pay

Especially things that you'd have to use a check/bill pay for anyway like; student loans, mortgage/rent, car loans, etc.

Wasn't the question about paying the Amex bill?

Therefore I choose door number 1; which I did yesterday to pay my Amex card.

And yes, for most other bills choose door number 4

Can someone please tell me what's the limitation to buy money order at Walmart?
Two days ago, I tried to buy 2300 money order to pay my rent, even separated to 1000, 1000 and 300, did not work. I ended up paid by my chase cc plus 40 service fee.

Thank you

Yes, the question was about paying the amex bill. And, option #1 is a fine option, one I've used myself as well.

However, keep in mind that if I normally pay a $350/mo car payment from my checking account, and I instead pay it via BB, I've effectively transferred $350 from BB to my checking account. I can then proceed to pay $350 to Amex from my bank account without a lose of liquidity.

Just some food for thought.
