Speedway pulling OneVanilla?
Went to usual Speedway yesterday. No OV variable visas on rack. Went to next nearest Speedway (about 4 miles away). Still had on rack and purchased as usual.
Went back to same store today, still had cards out but "item not found" when scanned by clerk. No sale.
Visited 1 other Speedway, still had on rack but when tried to purchase, wont scan. Clerk called manager, " Oh yeah, I got an email about these. Have to take them off the rack." Doesn't look good.

New gift card racks at my local stations and not a single One Vanilla to be found. Very disappointing. The only encouraging thing was there was still a slot for them on the rack (the card you see when the row is empty). If they're not scanning than it seems they've most likely been pulled. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm in the midwest and they were pulled off the rack here. Totally sucks. Speedway was my only gas station supplier of OVs and it was rock solid. Those cashiers sold OVs like they were candy.
I visited Speedway last night. The cashier seemed confused and went to the backroom for about five minutes. She returned with three OVs. I said I'll take them all. The transaction went through on CC, so the computers have not been recoded yet. Immediately after the transaction, the phone rang. The cashier laughed and said "Its for you". She was on the phone for about a minute looking at the OV packages and her register screen. She mumbled a few words here and there. The only words I clearly made out were "credit card". She hung up and shifted her attention to the next in line.
Not looking good.

My world is falling apart reading this! I pray this is either a temporary anomaly or only in certain locations. But we always knew this day would eventually come. Come on Speedway, just give us until a week into Q3 when we can max out the 5% on both Discover and Freedom!

Speedy - don't do this to us, you're my daily bread
I will check all 4 of my local Speedy locations tomorrow. I got a hint a while ago from the friendly cashier (about fraud, etc), but at the time it didn't mean much and I thought it was happening at the local level, but apparently it's corporate

Dang, I guess that means the party is over for me too. Anyone got a flow chart to tell me what's next? I PM'd one of the HHers on here but he told me to "think for myself and figure out churns that aren't as obvious and prone to shutdown because morons make (and post) flow charts that even criminals and credit card scammers can follow thus messing it up for the rest of you."
I'm not sure I get it...

I know nobody wants to mess around with Netspend anymore since they shut everybody down, but has anyone ever tried loading NS with a CC at Speedway? Might be another option to chug through $3k in spend for early Q3, then quickly liquidate to BB.
