Read the wiki carefully before posting. Wiki may be out of date.
800-950-5114. Non-US agents are, as of at least August 15, 2015, able to do debit card payments. If they resist, ask for a US agent.
Please do not report that debit payments do not work over the phone, they do! Hang up and call again (HUCA) until you get someone capable.

The same thing can be done in a Citi branch, but you do not swipe the debit card or enter any PIN, so it seems likely that the same cards do/don't work in branch as over the phone.
The name on the debit card must match the name on the account. You can be an authorized card holder (they'll ask the name of the primary). You can also pay off Citi Business credit cards (only attempted as primary cardholder). Limit of one payment per debit card per account per day.

Debit cards that work for paying Citi cards over the phone.
All Mastercard & Visa debit cards attached to regular checking accounts:
  • Alaska - some have not gotten miles;
  • SunTrust - no miles;
  • UFB Direct - $2000 daily limit - no miles.

i have been playing with Secure Spend and it has proven to be a bust for using GCs, at least as a method of adding a 'debit card' as a source of funds, I suspect that a real DC will work just fine.

Furthermore, even adding cash will cost you at least $1 per load, limited to $500 and can cost as much as $3.74 at WM using a GC (same restrictions as any GC at WM service center, i.e. no Metas), even higher fees outside WM.

So unless someone has secret sauce for this card, it is a bust. Furthermore, apparently, there are DPs out there that they are as thin skinned as Paypal

Not Vanilla eMCGCs, which I tried and didn't have any success with.

I understand this topic is for Citi cards but my question seems relevant enough to the thread and creating a new one wasn't appropriate but I could be wrong. Anyway, I recently got an offer for a PNC Cash Rewards Visa Credit Card. Does anyone know if you can also pay that with a debit card either over the phone or perhaps at a brick and mortar location? I tried to find this information online but its generally not advertised well. I may have to go ask in person. Also for that matter are there any other CCs currently that allow debit card payments in anyway besides Citi? I do it for my Double Cash and it works perfect so far. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks.

It's been a while since I used topcashback Virtual Visa. Could anyone confirm if it's still working?

Does eVisa not work. I see eMC in the recent posts. Looks like provided by pathward which isn’t mentioned in wiki.

If it starts with 451129 then it doesn't work. Pathward is Metabank.

Only thing working for me right now is GCG, but with the fee it's "meh" at best. Anything remotely scalable I'm missing? Not sure how updated wiki at top is but I haven't found anything worth mentioning.

Which GCG (I'm assuming that's Gift Card Granny) cards are you using - the Visa e-gift cards or the Visa plastic cards ?
