800-950-5114. Non-US agents are, as of at least August 15, 2015, able to do debit card payments. If they resist, ask for a US agent.
Please do not report that debit payments do not work over the phone, they do! Hang up and call again (HUCA) until you get someone capable.

The same thing can be done in a Citi branch, but you do not swipe the debit card or enter any PIN, so it seems likely that the same cards do/don't work in branch as over the phone.
The name on the debit card must match the name on the account. You can be an authorized card holder (they'll ask the name of the primary). You can also pay off Citi Business credit cards (only attempted as primary cardholder). Limit of one payment per debit card per account per day.

Debit cards that work for paying Citi cards over the phone.

Working on the Citi Premier sub atm. Rusty on Citi - is Citi sensitive Staples/Simon Malls VGC/MCGC for subs, or after subs? Then on the return, can these be phoned in w/o issue?

Read the wiki. It's pretty clear on what doesn't work.

Yes yes...the wiki has helpful information. Did not a reference to if Citi is sensitive to Simon or Staples style vgc/mc for subs, nor reference to if there are sensitivity in general to MS.

Do you know if I can redeem the Swagpoints to an MGC and register the card to under my spouse's name and then pay my spouse's citi CC? Is this doable and/or risky?

You can do that - when redeeming the code from Swagbucks to MGC, you get presented with a blank name/address form. However, you could also register the MGC in your own name and still use it to pay your spouse's Citi card (I've been doing this without issue).

Probably not unless you're cycling credit or buying absurd amounts. That said, you might get hit with fraud prevention and have to call in and have the purchase authorized.

Has anyone used one of these more recently? I had success with a few in August but I just got denied on the automated system today, curious if I'm an outlier.
