I am thinking following:
1. Applpy for new tmobile money card 2. Buy reloadit from safeway with points earning cc - not sure cc allowed to purchase it 3. Go to t-mobile store and load reloadit card to tmobile money card. 4. Use tmob money card to load your bb 5. pay from bb Does this sound viable? |

Edited OP and title to reflect that as of now it appears cash only for loads. Hopefully we can get creative and figure something out here.

if you can buy reloadit w/cc, it makes a lot of sense. don't even need bb, pay from t-mo card.
but I have a feeling it is too good to be true. |

Can you use the T-Mobile prepaid card to reload Bluebird?
The reason I ask is because Vanilla Reloads charge a fee, while T-Mobile prepaid card doesn't charge fees to load in store, and I want to keep the ability to write checks so I can pay my rent. Also, does anyone know if reloading the T-Mobile card counts as "cellphone service" for the Chase Ink Plus/Bold category bonus? That would be AWESOME. |

Yup. The key is getting the reloadit pack w/cc. YMMV.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/manuf...loadit-cc.html I wonder whether it is possible to load from the T-Mo account positive balance.. |

In-store, right?
Maybe we'll find better ways to load it. Otherwise it is quite useless. Oh well, doesn't take too much space in the drawer. Yes. I did just get two cards anyway. Loaded with $100 each cash. I think this will be a good place to offload.... possibly say paper from Walmart since you can deposit checks via phone app. Fee free for tmobile customers so costs nothing to try. hoping vanilla reloads for these I future or we find a place to buy reloadit cards with cc. |
Locke, you cannot load in store with a credit card. Only cash. Hard coded in register.

The following are compatible reload cards -
https://www.reloadit.com/card_partners.aspx Can you load any of these with CC fee free? I think Paypal can... |

"Can I pay for a REloadit Pack with a credit or debit card?
No, a REloadit Pack can only be purchased with Cash. " https://www.reloadit.com/faqs2.aspx Heaven for the drug dealers and cash business owners. Pity for us honest MS ppl. |
I won't get my hopes up on this. Like others said, hopefully you can load with a CC at Safeway stores after the launch.
|
Take it with a grain (or a boulder) of salt, but one other source has said load with CC is possible at their T-Mobile store.
|
If they allow to load with debit cards at least then this product can be a good liquidation source whenever we reach 5K on BB..

You can pay for prepaid services with plastic... but I have seen it myself, twice, when the tmobile rep tried to load the card. When you load it, for payment method, EVERYTHING is locked out, except Cash. There may be an over ride, but you would have to pull a DYKWA, if it is even possible. I just registered my cards, and online looks good. Will attempt check deposit and see how that goes. On packaging of the card, $20-500, $4 purchase fee unless you are tmo customer, and CASH ONLY all over. good news, fee free for customers. I see this card being used 2 ways.. 1. Used for dumping paper. 2. IF...IF you can buy the reload it cards with CC. Looking at my area, RELOADIT is sold at Stop & Shop grocery stores and Home Depot. Anyone have luck with them? |
