Able to buy 3x$200 a few hours ago, called to change PIN and unload at walmart money center express kiosk just now.

I initially brought 6 to the counter and the manager was called. She told me they couldn't run two transactions. I asked if I could come back later and she said, "I'm not saying you can't come back later, but we just can't run two transactions."

Gonna try going back there in a bit. Hit up another OM possibly as well.

Also you can buy MO at other grocery stores no problem.
Just a friendly reminder--don't assume that what you're able to do will work for everyone. My area (central California) has NO grocery stores that sell money orders for debit cards of any flavor--it's strictly cash only. I can't buy Visa/MC/AmEx variable load gift cards with a credit card either at any supermarket or gas station near me...at least, at none that I've been able to find so far...and I've been hunting for months.

If you have a wm kiosk, it works better.

Thanks, the Wally with kiosk is further away and not on my daily route. Just loaded onto my Serve at CVS. Probably will go through BB & Wally if I want to unload them faster, but I'm ok with the Serve for now.

Bought 3x$200. Cashier pulled out folder to scan discount barcode, but it didn't ring up. Manager couldn't figure it out, so they charged me the full amount then did a $40 refund which came up as "customer satisfaction." Works for me, but I suspect someone in store will have paperwork to deal with later.

I walked out of there paying $1949.50. Can you believe that crap?! Only 9747 UR points instead of 10k!!! Lol

Two more OM's to hit!
That's pretty good, so the limit of two offers per customer isn't coded into POS? You don't need to break it into separate transactions, and will get a discount for every $300 in GCs?

Just joined to thank the OP explorer64 about this deal. Bought the last 3 200$ cards on the rack yesterday. Went to another OM, but they only had one 200 left. Bought 1x200 + 4x100, which is still good if using ink. No issues during checkout. It was a little annoying to set the pin on all those cards tho

Thx to explorer84

Thanks to explorer84! Have now made my maiden trip to WM to successfully load MC gc's to BB at desk. Tomorrow will find out if my WM has a kiosk and will try that method. I'm learning!

Managed to buy MO using MC GC. I had to swipe first then hit either cancel (b/w) or change payment(color). Finally made it through. ^

I have had good luck the last two days at the OMs near me. Now I have $2400 in gcs to offload at WM. The last time this deal was around there were no $200 cards to be found.

question

I bought 5*200 MC from OM. Can I get MO for $1000 by using 5 Mastercards? Will it accept 5 MC for one transaction? Sorry I am new to MO and wanted to check with the experts. Is there any Kiosk available for buying MOs?

Thanks

walmart only allows 4 swipes per transaction. If you use the kiosk you can load 1 at a time. My kiosk in cental fl does not allow mo.

I went to visit my mother in MKE today. On the way I stopped at the East Side OM, no $200s. Two more OMs on the way there, no $200s. One in MKE, finally got 3 $200s, but they made me fill out a form with all sorts of info. And the cashier had to go back to the office to get the form, which somehow took over 5 minutes.

Besides that, when I got into line, both cashiers were bogged down with problems that required a supervisor to help them, so with all the delays, I spent 1/2 hour in the place. For $600 in GCs.

I tried 3 more OMs in the MKE area on the way out and the last one had $200s. I got $1200 worth. I'm not sure it was worth all the driving and time spent. And I was too frazzled to stop at either Leon's or Kopps for some frozen custard, even though I drove right by both of them.
