I have then put mine in a bag along with the receipt. they can also email you the receipt.
Keep them all together till you are ready to activate them.
Yes it has happened to me, and I had my paperwork.
The Manager set on it for 60 days, and after that the credit cards company decided in my favor.

This has always been my fear too, because "breakage" like this can really eat into your profits. I finally had it happen this last OM run when I bought... a few.... cards. I kept all my receipts (or at least believe I have) and double checked each and every one but could not find a record of the card being purchased.
Best I could guess is that during some of the runs, we bought so many the cashier got confused and sometimes would say "this card has already been activated" meaning they got confused and scanned the same card twice. Usually that meant voiding the transaction. I did notice on my statements some random credits for those transactions.
If you have receipts showing the serial # + the activation stub you should be able to contest it. If you don't, like me, it's hard to prove the existence of something that may not have ocurred

ALWAYS check your receipt when you are still at the counter - if the card is activated properly, depends on the variety of the card, either the last 4 digits of the bar code would be printed on the receipt, or the full bar code would be on the receipt - showing as S/N (Serial Number) - that is the case of those $200 cards at OM. You dont even need to have that little chip although it is also a proof of the card being activated.
I am amazed that over 8 months since manufactured spend is feasible there are still people do not pay attention on the basics - check your receipt right after purchase to make sure card being activated, check card balance as soon as possible, and keep a good records on exactly what you purchased, and at where.
Why wouldn't you immediately verify the card's balance once you get home and record your purchases?
This is Real Money you are playing about, not Play Dough. Carelessness is very costly.

Yes, you are right, I was wrong, I will definitely be careful in future.
Yesterday, I tried to find the receipt among all from OM, but I failed to matched the S/N number to my card. I might have to consider this $200 as
as a cost.
About the other one bought from staples, I called them yesterday, and tell them my receipt, they said they will check and give me a call back. hope that they can help me activate it.
