Google Wallet Discussion Thread

For all you street fighting men (and women) here is my experience so far with GW.

I'm in after providing date of birth, address and social security information.

For ADK, Jr.'s account they want a copy of his passport, proof of residency (hope the TX DL will do) and a copy of his social security card. I assume this is because they could not find him in a credit database look up.

This may effect any of our friends in the Great White North or abroad who want to tell Google "What's in your wallet?"

I tried for my 2nd GW account but when filling up last 4 digits of SSN I purposely put "0000". They want to see my ID now. I will let that account expire.

How much was the sale? Today I paid someone with GW for a new supercomputer which cost around 3K (Amex Biz card - status "pending" ) Keeping my fingers crossed.

My advice would be to stick with buying tablets. Cardinal Fang hates supercomputers, especially if your card was fairly recently obtained. Dear Fang has a vision from above of how you should be using your card based on past purchase behavior.

Indeed. We don't want this thread shut down while we are sweeping for landmines. I don't mind PMs but will warn that my church poorbox is over at Our Lady of Perpetual Fullness.

What kinda loaded question is that? As a man of the cloth I am paid to always see risk. As long as this spending does not create an abnormal spin up or pattern in spending you may be OK, but if this is goldrushing you may be asked to atone for your sins.

And speaking of atoning for your sins, the Department of Justice has just been excommunicated for trampling on Freedom of the Press.

Successfully completed a $990 transcation. A $2K transcation has been pending now for more than 12 hours.

Please don't PM me for an invite. I have sent out way too many invites and don't want to get flagged.
