Beagle, was the 3K in one transaction? If not, what were the amounts, in how many transactions and over how many days? We're all trying to figure out the safe limits.

Signed up May 20th for my wife and I .
Sent $10,$100 May 20th to her account.
Sent $500 to her account May 21st.
Withdrew all but $5 to her checking acct. May 21st within an hour of claiming the money.
Got the nasty email (a.k.a friendly reminder) May 21st around 10 PM.

To those getting the emails, have your accounts been frozen or have you tried any transactions since?

I'm still testing a variety of cards. No issues with a Chase Visa, personal Amex, Discover. Testing Citi and Barclays today. As another note, the merchant category description is showing up as business services.

Surprizing? Oh, no - Cardinal Fang stopped saying mass in Latin back in '67 - mass is now given in vernacular languages. The buzz in the Vatican is that Fang learned his vernacular through the blogs and boards.

Did a small test purchase on my personal Amex, which comes out as
GOOGLE*WALLET TOPUPGOOGLE.COM/CH CA

Did another purchase via debit card to see what the MCC is and it comes out as 7399 same description as Amex.

Did a purchase of 1875 on my Discover (got a call from fraud dept as well) to my sister and money became available within an hour after sending her the money. Did not bother withdrawing money and still sitting there. Dont' know what the category comes out as from Discover since it's still pending.

I suggest you guys keep yourselves from quickly withdrawing the money after sending money to each other. I doubt there's any valid reasons for anyone to even pull the money out that quickly after sending the money so just keep it sitting there for a while before pulling it out.
