How is anyone sending money currently? I have used google checkout before, so it looks like that has automatically become my google wallet account, but there is a complete blank space where the "send money" button should be. I also have no $ sign icon I can click on mail. Everything I read about wallet says it is "slowly being rolled out."

I don't see feature to send money in my wallet account. Looks like it is being rolled out slowly.

Can someone who has send money in their account, please PM me.

That's what it seems like. Once i get an invite (working on it) I'll be testing a few scenarios and try to do a write-up for the FAQ in this thread.

Do you honestly believe that Amazon Payment will be "shocked, shocked to find gambling going on in this establishment!"

The invite: Someone (who has the feature) has to send money to you. That effectively gives your account the send money feature.

If you want the send money feature feel free to PM me.

What I've learned so far:
1) To get access to Wallet send money option, you need someone who has it already to send you at least $0.01 (US Only).
2) Max that can be sent via CC is $9999
3) Normal CC fee is 2.9% but it's promotionally waved (not sure how long)
4) Tested sending $1k and received the following on my AMEX pending charges:
A) Google Wallet A

Another user from FT received:
B) Google Wallet TOPUP

5) You need to link your bank account in order to withdraw funds (much like AP).
6) Bank account verification isn't immediate so do it now... (2-3 business days they say)
7) Playcards do not add funds to your wallet.

so who is going to be the first person to try $9999?

For those that enable Google Wallet, I recommend enabling two-step authentication. What this does is whenever you log into any Google service from an unrecognized device/IP, you'll be sent a six number code to your phone that you'll then have to enter to continue logging in. It'll help keep hackers away from your money.

I've been using two-step authentication for a while now and love it. I used to feel uncomfortable logging into my Google account at school because it'd be so easy to install a keylogger on the computers in labs. But I don't have to worry about someone knowing my password with two-step authentication.
