I did try and search for this as I assumed it would have been asked already. Sorry for double posts if indeed it is there somewhere.

I have been buying AMEX giftcards through Bigcrumbs link. Obviously for the cash back component. After clicking through to the AMEX site I was able to purchase 1 $2000 card and 1 $3000 card for a total of $5000 with 2 charge of $3.95.

Today when I clicked through from Big Crumbs to the AMEX gift card site I did not have the option to purchase $2k or $3k cards. The max was only $500.

What happened here? I'm I doing something wrong?

AMEX still has the option to purchase giftcards in any increment from

americanexpress.com/gift

but I would not get a bigcrumbs credit that way.

Any help or info would be appreciated.

I'm hoping I am just missing something.
