I think, as always, it depends on who, how much, etc.

I've bought many things from friends for which I paid with PayPal to avoid carrying cash. There's nothing in the T&C against this. That's kind of the point of PayPal anyway.

Now, if you just simply move money around ... I can see them getting angry about that.

Myself, I would not be comfortable to take the "standard shipping" option for an item like that. So your costs could increase there.

The price of gold will change, and could fall (or rise) rapidly, so there's some risk.

I don't know why a broker would sell gold coins so close to the market value. I don't see how they recoup their costs.

Beyond that, I like your thinking.

Anyone got any new methods that they are willing to share? I'm always open to exchanging methods via PM if anyone is interested.

You can MS visa/mc spend for up to $100 CAD on this card daily: https://acconversion.cibc.com/cholde...welcome.action

I've heard you can buy prepaid visa/mc at 7-Eleven with an Amex and then recycle the money onto that card, but I haven't tested this myself.

So there's this app called PayTM that allows you to pay certain bills via CC that you normally would not be able to. I noticed that a Line of Credit was one of the options listed. Say my LOC balance is currently $0, do you think i'd be able to use the app to pay my LOC, then transfer the money from my LOC to my bank account, then rinse and repeat? So that I could earn the CB from my CC.

Does anyone think that will work?
