It's out of the way but there's a 738 from DFW and MIA.

Where have you seen long-haul domestic flights recently for $158 R/T?

NYC-DFW-YUL or NYC-MIA-YUL is not cheap with Avios, especially in F. Not to mention pretty pointless given the direct is so short

Bank Transfer

I was told that it would take 5 business days for the transfer from BB to my bank account. It actually took 6 business days. BB showed it complete after a few business days.

ACH transfers from BB, like Serve before it, take forever.

Buying the VR has inconsistent rules. Some cashiers say cash only, $1000 only per day, or ask for ID. It varies, so no consistent rule can be given.

What is the risk, moving $5000 from BB back to your bank? Is this a good way to liberate the funds?

I'm passing thru Loveland, co. If someone knows which of the 4 walgreens accepts CCs for Vanillas, I'd love a PM. Thanks!

I think a better way is to take the $5k and apply it to pay the credit cards used to purchase the VR cards. Or pay mortgage, car payment, etc.

My guess is that would be the riskiest thing you could think of. LOL. On the other hand I don't think we have seen any reports in this thread of Bluebirds being closed for any reason.

The product is too young.

NetSpend did not shut down accounts until a few months after heavy usage by FTers.

Bill Pay to payees in their data base works almost flawless, it is next day arrival even quicker than some banks Bill Pay services, so why not use that function?

"Your bluebird POS Reload was Successful‏"

I just added a Vanilla Reload I bought about 30 minutes ago to my Bluebird and got this confirmation email within a minute or so -

"Your bluebird POS Reload was Successful‏"

It's been a couple of weeks since I loaded one and I haven't received a similar email before or heard anyone mention receiving one after a reload.
