New "mint" [One day discount Target giftcards]

Hey guys I wanted to let you know that target on-line is offering target gift cards at a discount. They are taking off $10 off $100 until tonight.

Right now you can sell a $100 target gift card for $92 on plastic jungle and cardpool.

Not only can you get your credit card spending up you actually make a little money. (although they do charge shipping of $1.95 per order but topcashback supposedly pays 4% if you are a risk taker)

The discount shows up at checkout.

So each order yields 90 ffm and $4? ... assuming everything goes as planned.

The mint yielded 1000's of miles per order at no cost.

Not the same.

Thanks for the info. Not for miles, but I bought a $200 card for $192.08 through Ebates. May get $4 back there. Good deal since we shop at Target.

If it's not too late to cancel your order, split it into two orders and get it for $184.16.

you have to buy these in $100.00 increments right? Does anyone know if cardpool or plastic jungle take ecards? Anyone going for a big spend on this? I could use it to top off my BA card.

No cash back on gift card purchases. When you do go to redeem the GC's you can go through your favorite portal however. I'd recommend Topcashback with 9.5% back on everything but babycare and electronics it looks like.

Right, this is far from the Mint, but thanks for a highlighting a great deal for those with Target CC's like me. 5% of all purchases everyday, plus 9.5% back from TCB on top of that, and free shipping always = a reason for me to move all applicable target items to online ordering vs in-store.

I see the exclusion of gift cards on ebates, but not TCB. Did I just not look in the right place?
Why does OP equate TCB with being a risk taker?

Expand the 9.5% item details in the target listing

I spend about $200 a month at Target.

Are you saying you can use these to bump up your spend? Or you can just save 15% off $100.

I notice if you put in an order for 4 100 cards you only get $10 off. So how do you get more? Make two separate transactions?

Also it says you can have it sent by mail, email, or mobile.

I assume most want mail?

Risk is bit high for me, in the week or two it takes for cards to ship the buy rates at cardpool/plasticjungle will probably have be influenced by the sale, which both increases supply of cheap cards and lowers number of buyers...

At slickdeals they are churning the electronic/mobile versions, using gift cards to buy gift cards (pocketting $10 a turn). Sounds like the e-mails are not instant (w/i 4 hours).

Not how I roll. But I am considering getting 10 or so to knock out some spend.

I read last page and it sounded like loophole was closed.

Can you just get, say, 10 eGift Cards in separate orders now. Then tomorrow or whenever buy 10 physical GC's and pay the $1.95 shipping fee once. Then mail all the 10 GC's in the same envelope to PlasticJungle?

It's looking like $3 per 100 points or $1500 for 50,000 points from doing this provided you don't get cashback (which you shouldn't since GC's are excluded).

Thanks OP, I was at least able to move a bit of spend forward at a discount for my two new rewards cards. Plus, I am actually going to be shopping there soon for back to school stuff, so might as well get a 10% discount.
