Booking J flights with BA Avios
I need to get from DPS to BKK in December. I have a load of BA Avios so was thinking of using them on a J ticket with MH. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any availability on the DPS - KUL leg around my prefered date of 8th. Is it likely that some availability will open up nearer the time?

These flights are cheap to purchase in cash. Don't waste your Avios (where you have to pay high TFS) to redeem, particularly in J where the onboard service for intra-Asia flights on narrow-body aircraft isn't that memorable.

If I was paying cash then MH are 450 one way, which doesn't sound particularly cheap. For an extra 30 you can get SQ, with 787's on both legs.
