Really? I'm on the route next week in J, so let's see what happens! Like chris63 that might just bring me back to MH regularly..

I have given up on finding the logic too But staff have been wonderful so far, and the F lounge in KL nice and quiet (only four other pax during my entire visit).

Apparently, from speaking to the crew, it is a BKK specific exception where they carry beer. So beer and soft drinks is the service

What to expect as meal service, if any is being offered, on a KUL-BKK in Y?

You'll get a hot meal in a box and drinks, which reportedly includes beer.

Can I ask for a special meal for dietary reason in advance? I can’t see the option on MMB.

I just flew KL to Kathmandu (about 5 hours) and there was full alcohol service, including Champagne, in business class. Phuket to KL had no alcohol - but it's only about an hour flight.
