MH site not showing/changing FF details?

MH site not showing/changing FF details?
I have a booking on MH, but I am with the BA frequent flyer programme.
For some reason, I cannot - through their website - change my frequent flyer status to BA.
This is important, as my status will give me extra bags, etc.
I called them - the first person didn't know what I was talking about. The second one thought she added it to the booking, but the email I received for the confirmation says "MH-BA2XXXXXX"... If I look online it still says MH Enrich and my booking doesn't have my BA freq flyer number (surely it be BA-2XXXXXX)
Any advice?
Also should the booking system automatically recognise oneworld status (i.e. seat booking, etc)?

I had this issue recently too. I somehow managed to resolve it but can't quite remember how... either via the Finnair website or through Malaysia Airlines but on a computer rather than via mobile app. Good luck!
