Medan back to back

I'm seeing some outstanding fares SIN-KUL-KNO-KUL-SIN at circa S$500 and KNO-KUL-(any city in Malaysia)-KUL-KNO at circa S$400 in the current Travelganza sale that ends on 24 Feb (for flights until 31 July). Absolutely ripe for TP run ex-SIN.

I assume MH 864 KUL-KNO at 16:00 immediately turns around as MH 865 KNO-KUL at 16:50.
Likewise MH 860 KUL-KNO arrives 08:30 immediately turns around as MH 861 KNO-KUL at 09:10

Does anyone know how easy it will be to go B2B on each of the above flights at KNO? Is KNO like SIN or KUL where arrival and departure passengers mix at the gate? Will KNO accept an electronic or printed boarding pass?

Arriving and departing pax do not mix at KNO.

There is a transit sign but that sign seems to lead to a locked door/ corridor which looks unmanned and all arriving pax are directed to the arrival immigration area.

Self-print boarding passes are accepted but not mobile versions as folks manning checkpoints need to stamp on that piece of paper, including exit immigration.

All in all, possible to do turnaround but rather tight with high risk of failure. On departure, you have to go through two sets of common security screening as an international pax, for instance. And how long you spend time there depends on flights departing at that time.

Thanks very much for your detailed input.

Seems prognosis is really not good for such short B2B turnaround...

Yup, I wouldn't do it at KNO.
Although perfectly legal, you may however have to face awkward questions by bemused immigration officers, on entry and exit.
