MH new PNR
So I am hearing that MH is switching over to Amadeus this weekend, changing our 5 digit PNR to a 6 digit PNR (good).
Bugger timing though as I am scheduled to do another domestic run on Monday 12th.
Does anyone know how to get the new PNR number from MH?

Enter your Old 5 digit MH ref into the new app. It'll show the 6 digit corresponding amadeus ref.

Actually did that thanks.
But for some old PNRs, the new app doesn't seem to recognise the booking (seems to be ex-KUL itineraries).
MH says they will email out the new PNRs... we shall see!

Also flying on the 12th, first thing. Hoping I'll be able to use the old OLCI system on the 10th (as the system upgrade doesn't start until 7pm). I guess this would still be accepting the 5-digit PNR?
Hope that KLIA isn't too chaotic that morning...

If the PNRs don't work for whatever reason, use the e-ticket number. I think that stays the same.

Remember that there will be bolts and screws out of place for the next week or so as far as the website/check in is concerned.
It took SQ & CX over a month to sort their systems out, and when BA and QF transitioned to Amadeus, it was disastrous for over 6 months! Lets just hope MH fares better...

They surely could have been rational about it and done the switch over either before/after Ramadhan.
Just saying as half the staff in my office look like they are half awake and drained of energy. But it is normal during the fast.

I know the entire thing is still buggy and not working as hell, but I'd love to see if the MH-issued 6 digit PNR would finally work on BA/QF/AY's online Manage My Booking.

Called MH reservations to confirm seats after migration - all seats wiped & asked to pay MYR$11 per sector for a business class seat assignment - is this a future enhancement?
