Upgrading using Enrich Miles
 

Hey guys,
I've been hunting for some KUL to PVG and have some questions as well as want to share something:

1) Using MH's website Multi City to search for Round Trips would give you access to different fare classes. In my case, searching for KUL - PVG on the main page would return a S class fare while using the Multi City tool would return a Q class fare which is cheaper by RM200 or so...

2) Anyone tried upgrading Q Class fares for KUL - PVG? Can you only redeem over the phone?

3) I don't have a stock of Enrich miles hence I'm considering buying/taking over someones account. Can I use that person's account to book the flights for 2 pax (me and my wife) as well as apply the upgrade?

If yes, wouldn't that person's MH number be attached to my ticket? I hear that Enrich accounts can be used to buy ticket for anyone but haven't had any first hand experiences.

OR are there restrictions around only the Account Holder's ticket can be upgraded using miles? Sorry I'm quite unfamiliar with Enrich overall until 2 hours ago...
