F then J flight - lounge access

I'm going to be flying LHR-KUL-SYD. The LHR leg is in F, with the SYD leg in J. What lounges can I get access to in KUL - can I get into the F lounge based on the first flight? I won't have any oneworld status at the time.

It's difficult to make sense of this:

https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access

My understanding from this would be no as it's long haul int to long haul int so access is based on the class of travel on the BP.

Although it could be interpreted that KUL-SYD is a short haul int compared to LHR-KUL.

Hopefully someone will be able to clarify.

Yes, you may - just by showing the F boarding pass. This is based on arrival access.

I would be reluctant to show the J boarding pass as some lounge staff may insist you use the biz side of the lounge. In short, they dont have to know and could save you a few minutes worth of Q&As or arguments.
