Question current MH F offering

Thinking of doing MH to KUL in April. What is their F offering like? What champagne is cirrently being offered? Does anyone have the current wine list.

Do they have fast track for F passengers at LHR T4 & KUL?

Many thanks

Did it once last year ... truly excellent. Seats are massive and service as good as SQ. I even wrote to MH on their website complimenting their staff, although never received a reply.

IIRC the champagne was Dom P (could be wrong on this though). Food was good but presentation was a little simplistic. Full caviar service. Was even offered caviar on my second meal before landing even though not on the menu.

IFE not that great, but used my ipad most of the time anyway.

Would not hesitate to experience it again.

Edit: Yes fast track at LHR & KUL

Here, I don't agree... flew two trips, Jan and Feb. On the Feb trip, only saw two new movies added in the 'latest' section (Keeping up with the Jonses, and... The Accountant?). Their offering used to be much better updated than this two-a-month thing...

then again, at least I could sleep without distraction!

With Malaysian getting rid of F now, is there any erosion in food/wine? Doing it on miles, and given availability will need to put me and my partner on separate flights and caviar does tend to sway him...

MH isn't getting rid of F, just halving the size of it on the A350. Crucially, they're still maintaining the award space (1 per flight), which is quite generous.

IMHO the food is still acceptable for F, with caviar and the works. Nothing overly fancy, but perfectly acceptable. It might not be what it was 10 years ago, but the same goes for CX and BA. But there's one item that's remained consistent over the years: satay ^

Can't comment too much on the drinks but I know Dom Perignon has been replaced by Joseph Perrier.

The A350 will still have first.

Ah. I read some badly informed blog then (said A350s wouldn't have it)...

Thanks both.

Is it still only to LHR or will F expand to other routes as well?

Tokyo and Sydney have had reported intervals of F service.

With the A350 I can see MH doing a consistant F service to Tokyo, CDG and SYD and possibly even JNB.

Per AusBT, NRT and AKL are on the table.

When? The periodic A380 deployment on those routes didn't actually have F service, AFAIK. In some cases the F cabin was closed.

With 6 frames?

JNB was never on the cards. MH is committed to LHR, so that leaves room for one more long-haul route, which could be in the southern hemisphere.
