Ha...... we called it Hilum Chicken, the best I've tasted years ago was made by a very “white” Hilum Uncle in an outlet in the Soon Hup Tower mall in MYY.

i would avoid the PP lounge in the satellite building. It's constantly overcrowded and food runs out.

Like many replied, MH J lounge would be your best bet. Good coffee and Nasi Lemak for breakfast. Scrambled eggs was also available when i visited in the AM on Oct-3. Also they have their own dedicated smokers lounge at the back to the left if that's your thing.

No.

The new unofficial target reopening date is now said to be anytime around 15-17 Sept. Applies to both the international and domestic lounges.

The Satelite lounge is scheduled to shut on 30th Sept and we are expected to use the one in the main terminal in the meantime.

Does this mean the regional lounge has opened?

Nope. Regional lounge is still shut as of 17 Sep. Asked the waiter in Golden Lounge restaurant (1st class) and he mentioned something about 1st/ OWE passengers getting CIP lounge access during the imminent closure of the Satellite lounges. That closure is meant to be at least 3 months, so moderate your expectations if flying OWE through KUL between October 2017 and January 2018.

I do like the ham sandwiches in the CX Lounge (Satellite terminal) hence I always go there if I have the time.

Prefer the tuna

CX lounge feel much cleaner than MH or PPL. Also the only lounge to have self serve alcohol

Doesn't the Satellite lounge also serve alcohol at the Bar?

Other than that, I also feel the CX lounge is much cleaner.

My lounge of choice at KL actually

Yes, MH also has alcohol at their bar. But I prefer to self serve my drinks ... especially after that 3rd glass

Here's something I didn't know. You're not permitted to order more than one each of starter/main/dessert in the platinum lounge dining room. The cod main was delicious (skipped the starter and dessert), so I had a craving for another an hour later...not possible was the reply. Not exactly a premium experience.

My favorite was the Golden Lounge "First class" with the restaurant A la carte.
Not too crowded

Does any one know why the cooking was so slow at the First class restaurant?
