It maybe a Malaysian thing,I had a very hard time finding a bar with baileys in Penang, although in KL it was easier. My friend says that Malaysians don't drink Baileys too much because it's neither there, nor here ie:they like to either have a beer or some hard alcohol.

Just flew HKG-KUL-HKG, with a choice of two reds both ways (and a choice of two whites for that matter, but I didn't go for either). Both the reds were decent; they seem to have a preference for fuller-bodied reds which makes sense given the menu choices. The Rhone went well with both the chicken satay as well as the surprisingly tasty lamb briyani.

The wine quality is quite decent, and better than on CX. Two reds and two whites (sometimes only one), and champagne. I drink red. Last week I had a very nice Haut Medoc Cru Bourgeois 2009 (Chateau d"arche) and a Guigal Crozes Hermitage. On the return leg, the Crozes Hermitage was replaced by a nice Shiraz 2012 from McLaren Vale.
I am also surprised by some comments on the MH Regional lounge in KUL (HKG flights usually depart/arrive in H gates, so no need for train). It is a nice lounge, good service, good food and wines at the bar (alcohols are not displaid anymore at the bar but available on request).

Indeed, I fly the route quite often in J and they always served wines and alcohol. That is even on the morning flights (depart HKG at 8:45 or KUL at 9:15). Either there is a separate drink menu or there is not. But they always have wines available.

Love it. I did clean out a 75ml spray suntan lotion container for similar use. However it still smelled after multiple washes. Hadn't thought about mouthwash.

Slightly off topic, flew MH BKI-KUL and LBU-KUL twice this week and last week and the food variation does not appear to be on...almost the same things being served week in/week out.
