Yes, you can, chris63. Even though you don't hold OW status, OW rules still apply. Show your F boarding pass from your BA flight and you should get into the First class lounge. Your BKK flight will most likely be leaving from the MTB though, so you'll have to allow some time to get from the satellite terminal, where the First class lounge is located.

Domestic lounge is a joke. I only drop by there for a last refreshment before a flight. Certainly not for the food

It's the same reception desk for J/F lounge,so you can try presenting both BPs to the lounge agent and the worst that can happen they will direct you to the left (J lounge),rather than right (F lounge), (ie:no walk of shame ).

...no access,if going by the book.

How bad is it? I have not been there for more than a year - will be visiting it later in April, so want to plan and make sure I don't be too early in case it really is downhill.

What's normally available?

Cheers!

Hi,

I think it depends what time you will be there, but in the morning (till 12pm) expect to have something like nasi lemak, tuna sandwich, soup and pastries. It's good if you like that

Dont expect to take a shower after a long haul flight. I tried once and they gave me a dirty towel
"Excuse me, why this towel is like that"
- "Oh sorry sir, all the clean towels are in the satellite lounge"

I tried to stay cool

Thanks for the info. Though the response on the towel is absurd, how could they even have such a response. I would have requested for the lounge manager, unacceptable.

Cheers!

Are you coming off an international flight? If so you can use the satelite/regional lounges in the international area, before heading to the domestic pier.

Exactly! And demanded that a staff take the sky train to the satellite lounge and come back with some clean towels.

I used to enjoy the chilli padi mojito that the satellite lounge bartenders make. But in my recent 3 trips, they were always out of some ingredient or another, so they couldn't make it.

For example:
- "our lemons are not fresh today" (seriously?)
- "we are out of chilli padi"
- "we are out of mint"

Seems cost cutting measures are proving too much...
