Thanks for all of the replies, appreciate it! Ended up settling on MO. We'd narrowed it down to MOHK (we are generally MO fans), Four Seasons (really liked the room design and the pool did sound appealing as CGRA helpfully pointed out) and the Upper House. Peninsula does look very nice but the room size was just going to be too tight with the kids and didn't want to stretch it to a suite. The suite temptations rate at MO swayed us in the end.

Try to have a drink at the top floor bar. The view is nice.
There is also a big wheel in front of the MO that you may enjoy.
Speaking of view, the RC has great view and they have a buffet lunch and I saw several kids running around.
Last if you visit the peak, suggest that you take a taxi or uber to the top (the ride is nice) then the tram going down (you’ll save some time that way)
also the cable car at ocean park is very nice, they do sell fast pass for about usd 40 and and the view are amazing (the self restaurant by the cable car top station also have great view)
there is another cable car at Lantau island to see big Buddha and the car with glass floor are fun

Side note :
MO suite has bottega venata bath products, the bottles are large.
Regular rooms have Hermes (small). I prefer hermes so they do switch to hermes.
You’ll most probably have rose petal jam as welcome amenity, do not let your kids touch it before your back home :
the jam is delicious and they do sell it at their cake shop but the price has almost an extra Zero.

Will be staying at MO in Harbor View Room. I'm one of those people that is very sensitive to street noise-can't sleep if I hear that. I'll request a room on a high floor to mitigate the problem, but curious if people can comment on soundproofing of rooms at this property against street noise. Thank you.

Connaught Road? It's usually a traffic nightmare and the Honkies sure like to honk their horns. You must be thinking about some other MO somewhere else. But soundproofing at the MOHK is pretty good. Not as good as when they had the balconies and they had double pane windows separated by a good couple of inches of cork sealant insulation, but pretty good. It was so good that I remember staying at the MO during a T9 and you couldn't hear anything, but if you opened the balcony door it was as if Godzilla was right outside.

But mostly, I just like to be picked up at the airport in the signature Peninsula Rolls Royce and the use of the Mini Cooper with Chauffeur is a great value for suite guests!
