Ritz Carlton in Doha

Quick question does the Ritz Carlton club lounge in Doha serve booze or is it my worst nightmare, dry.

They have booze, hot dinner items, hot breakfast items.

It's one of the most beautiful club rooms of any hotel. Gorgeous views...

Any updates on this hotel? Is there free wifi and how far is it from the airport and the main attractions of the city?

Four Seasons in Doha is much nicer. To me, the Ritz was a bit dated.

Stayed there last week and have been using the hotel for a few years.

Tried the FS but no club, rooms are little empty.

RC rooms are larger, club food and beverage is superb, better than Dubai.
Service is attentive and they are good at using my name in the lounge.

Wifi in the lounge and public areas is free

Italian restaurant is excellent, nicer than the FS. Gym and pool are also very good.

No complaints really.

I agree, IMHO its currently the best option in Doha even if not in a club level room as the hotel has been updated and all rooms much nicer than the 4S which is long overdue for upgrade.

Thanks for the feedback. Have you stayed at St.Regis and/or W in order to compare with RC? I am considering booking a Club Room at RC but I know St.Regis and W are solid properties as well.

St. R is ok, I like the pool. I have only poked around the W, I did not like the pool area at all and I do not think it is a luxury hotel compared to what is offered at the RC in terms of room furnishing or other physical property aspects. The RC is a resort style luxury hotel in Doha and the W tries hard to pretend it is in hip (according to millennials) LA (I know, I know thats the brand but just not my preference).

Well if you have stayed at St.Regis and you think RC > StR, plus the fact that RC has a lounge and StR does not, then you make my choice easier.
Thanks!
