Melezin Aman resorts Courcheval, Byblos lhw - anyone been there

Hi, i cant seem to find any reviews or thoughts on this hotel in courcheval. There is also another excellent hotel; Byblos de neige but again i cant find any comments. Has anyone stayed at these and can anyone reccomend (or not) either of these hotels?

Its very nice, but I wouldnt expect a resort like the others at all.... Its in the Aman lineup only because Adrian likes to ski a lot and used to stay there everytime... Being a hotelier, they finally sold it to him after many years of trying. Now he can call it his own....

thanks, it does look nice from the piccys but i (finally) found a review on tripadvisor saying that the standard rooms (at least 1) have a view of a wall??? I dont want to pay 500 euros for that so i am erring towards the byblos. Any other input would be much appreciated!

have stayed at le melezin twice , before and after the pool was put in
i must say le melezin is very aman in style and attitude ...and all the reasons that is good going for aman....which is why i like it...from the pick up in geneva - a long wait due to our missing luggage to the small stuff that makes us happy.

a modern hotel as it were with the traditional charm .

some rooms are tiny but its best to get a room with a balcony or go fo rth top suites ...its expensive but you will always be very happy agfter a hard day on the slopes !!

an alternative but still secondary imo is the cheval blanc....looks nice but lacks the charm ..very rocco forte ...not stayed there but have had a meal there...which was indeed very nice....

le Melezin is in a different league

Byblos is like the Byblos in the south of France - same owners and same attitudes, so not a great choice I think. Le Melezin is very Aman in decor and service, but you do have to opt for a suite with slope views, or at least something better than a standard.
By the way, le Melezin is not owned by Adrian Zecha, but by an investment fund. Aman just manage it.
