We are looking for good hotels/ villas anywhere within a ~3 hour drive of Dalaman airport in mid-October.

Would be good to have access to good restaurants and nice beach nearby.

Budget wise: Ideally below £300/night inc breakfast, £450 all inclusive..rough guide.

Please recommend!

The best beach near DAL is Patara Beach.......in fact it's one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean. Patara is an eleven mile long sandy beach that's completely undeveloped. It's in a protected zone because Loggerhead turtles lay their eggs on the beach. Patara's about ninety miles from DAL.

You're not going to find hotels in the price range you're suggesting in the area. Not too many "luxury" hotels in this region of Turkey. Options are staying in the small village of Gelemiş near Patara (Dardanos Hotel is the best), or staying in the nearby town of Kalkan, about a 20 minute drive away. Fidanka Hotel, Hotel Villa Mahal, or The Bay are three good Kalkan options. Kalkan also has a small, but very beautiful beach just outside of town called Kaputas Beach.
