Non-cancellable and must be booked by May 6, but there are some truly amazing bargains. The Phuket prices verge on unbelievable. Does anyone know if Banyan Tree is in financial trouble (the prices are so good that I wondered)? Or will high demand dates not be available?

i am, the May 6 voucher booking deadline was extended to May 7 when I checked an hour or so ago.

Yes I booked one yesterday evening. Delivered by mail within 5 minutes, instantly used. Booking gives me a 3 day prior to arrival for cancellation.

Which property do people feel is the best Banyan Tree property? I have not stayed at any of their resorts.

Difficult to say as too many factors and personal preferences need to be taken into account. Vouchers can be stacked though so you could really take advantage of those speedboat transfers in the Maldives.
