Best/most aspirational Small Luxury Hotels
So I wonder which SLH portfolio properties now would be considered the best, most aspirational, or most impressive in their markets or overall?
Do tell with my thanks.

I'll start with the Viceroy Bali, Abba Resorts Izu and 137 Pillars Ciang Mai as obviously oustanding hotels, with the Alila Jabal Akhdar (assuming we're including other partnerships), Pangulasian Island and Keemala already on my personal "aspirational" list. I dislike Koh Samui as a whole, but often pass through so might add the Cape Fahn Hotel to the list. I believe I may have previously visited both the Petit St Vincent and possibly even the Liming Bequia, or at least the sites they are now on - also rather special.

The Viceroy Bali and 137 Pillars I knew would be mentioned. I'd forgotten about Petit St Vincent.
I didn't realize El Nido Pangalusian Island was part of SLH, so that's interesting. That's supposed to have great diving nearby. Perhaps a nice combo with Amanpulo.

La Casa que Canta, Zihuatanejo, Mexico
Las Alamandas, Coastalegre, Mexico (airport is Puerto Vallarta)
American Trade Hotel, Panama City, Panama
Soniat House, New Orleans — only the addition across the street
Trout Point Lodge Nova Scotia
Hotel Ranga, Sudurland, Iceland
Juvet Landscape Hotel, Norway, not SLH but on my list

We stayed at Hotel Ranga last November KatW and you would not like their showers. They have a massive lip that you can easily trip on getting in and out of the shower. (Which is in effect a very large tub with a shower attachment.)
Check out the pictures on their website.

OK, thanks LinLant. I am thinking specifically of bhrubin for these venues, some of which I’ve experienced some not but wish I could. Our traveling days likely are over although I might manage the occasional jaunt in years to come.

Just to be clear, as I am not a big Hyatt person. SLH nights credit as Hyatt nights and earn Hyatt points at all properties right? I recently stayed at Elounda Gulf Villas and La Zebra Tulum and neither stay has posted to my Hyatt...

Only properties that opted into the Hyatt partnership award nights and points.
