Virtuoso Hotels Hainan

I am considering three nights on Hainan after a two week trip to China. What are the best options on Hainan right now? I was thinking of the MO, the Rosewood, the Capella or the Raffles. Any other suggestions? I could not find any of those Hotels on virtuoso.com. What are the benefits with Virtuoso, MO Fan Club or Rosewood Elite?

If these hotels are not on Virtuoso.com, they do not have contracts with Virtuoso.

MO FAN Club has the following amenities:
  • Daily full breakfast for two persons
  • $100 Food & Beverage or Spa Credit, per room per stay
  • Complimentary High Speed Internet Access during stay
  • Personalized welcome amenity
  • One category room upgrade, subject to availability at time of check-in•
  • Priority waitlist clearance

Rosewood Elite always has free breakfast and *sometimes* (depending on hotel) may offer a hotel credit or an alternative extra amenity.

Rosewood always combines Rosewood Elite amenities with any free night offers. Mandarin Oriental sometimes offers FAN Club amenities with free night rates, sometimes not.

Amex FHR has the Rosewood, including breakfast and a $100 property credit. Also 4pm checkout. Currently there is a free 4th night promotion running.

With regards to Capella Sanya, I was planning to answer here but came up with a mini-review instead.

Thanks a lot for your answers.

I am currently booked for two nights at the Mandarin Oriental before heading to the Rosewood for one night. I am not sure if the Mandarin is already too dated and I am also not so sure about the beach at the Mandarin. But I will see it for myself. As for the Capella, I cannot see myself staying there at the moment. The décor of the rooms and architecture of the buildings itself do not attract me.
