Opinions on St. Regis Moscow?
 
Just booked a 2 night stay there to try something other than the RC. I don't recall seeing this hotel discussed in the forum previously. Anyone been recently?

Stayed there 4-5 years ago. Very run down. Not sure why you'd even consider it when there's such a nice FS

Well that's always lovely to hear! On my way there now, with any luck it's not as bad as you remember. Haven't tried the FS yet, Park Hyatt and Ritz-Carlton on previous visits. I am staying at the RC again in August so I thought i'd mix it up and the StR was insanely cheap on these dates.

Here now. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not on par with the Ritz-Carlton (and I assume the 4S). The rooms are pretty worn and need a refresh. Still, I am paying a pittance/night and was upgraded to a suite, so no complaints!
