Looking for recommendation for the keys; something small with historic KW character. I was looking at the Simonot Court but reviews on TA are really mixed and some are concerning. Has anyone stayed there before? Does anyone have any other recommendations? Please no resort style hotels or chains; I’m looking for something like the Soniat House in NOLA, but with old Key West character. The Southernmost House looks interesting. I’ve also looked at the Marquesa Hotel, Cypress House, Eden House, Key Lime Inn, Curry Mansion Inn, Chelsea House Pool & Gardens, Lighthouse Court, La Te Da, and B&Bs like Artist House, Andrews Inn, Coco Plum, Conch House, etc. Nothing really stands out so far. Simonot Court looks best to me in photos, but I’m not sure their website is reliable according to some reviews. I would much prefer private cottages like Simonot Court to a B&B style suite with shared common space. Any other suggestions would be appreciated!
