Most stunning Luxury Hotel Locations you’ve experienced?

I thought it might be interesting to have this discussion (apologies if it has been previously covered), but my favorites:

Aman Sveti Stefan
Grand Hotel Timeo (Mount Etna views are really incredible)
Villa San Michele (in Fiesole, overlooking Florence with beautiful view)
Kasbah Tamadot (we were ther in adoring so saw snow capped mountains but beautiful greenery as well)
Palazzo Avino (Ravello is amazingly beautiful)
Badrutts Palace (we did St amortization in late summer and were upgraded to a lake view room that was great).

Hopefully going to try Amanzoe this October (still a little nervous about weather...), and going to do Qasr Al Sarab, Ritz Carlton Al Bustan Palace and Anantara Jabal Akhdar this April (so hopefully will have new additions to the list after that!).

Yea, I hear you. The patron saint of people who carry a credit card balance month-to-month. And after a stay at Badrutt's, you're likely to be needing that divine intervention.

Beresheet in Mitzpe Ramon, Israel (cottages with individual swimming pools on the edge of a crater. The food was amazing as well)

Il San Pietro & Villa d’Este. Both also have the most stunning tennis court settings (which is always a factor for me during the summer).

The setting and the dunes at Qasr Al Sarab are amazing, but I was quite disappointed by the Ritz Carlton Al Bustan (much prefer the Chedi in Oman).

Love this thread! We’ve been to many of these properties....and the ones we’ve not been to are on our bucket list.

In the US, we also like the mountain/lake views from Blackberry Farm and Lake Placid Lodge
