What great suggestions. We, too, have stayed at Raffles. It was faded when we were there. Current reviews say much the same. I was unaware of two exceptional options for the city. Thank you.

Do you have a link for the architectural tour? That sounds appealing.

It's fun to review this thread as we look forward to our trip in a couple months. We're doing the following:
  • Rosewood Phnom Penh
  • Aqua Mekong
  • Azerai Can Tho
I appreciate the suggestions that various of you gave that led me to this. @deer mentioned an architectural tour in Phnom Penh led by students. Is anyone familiar with this?

Khmer Architecture Tours - modern architecture in Cambodia by walking map, bus or cyclo - it's very good indeed!
