SL publishes helping with all trains, and someone said FS does as well

FS has airport greeting for small fee

presumably anything aman doesnt include could be done for fee

Any of these hotels will definitely be able to take care of arrival or departure requirements. However, buying tickets and getting on the N’EX at NRT is extremely simple and well marked. I do not see the need for any assistance on that end, even for a first time guest.

Does LP still exist, or is it now STARS for all Marriott “luxury” brands?

You would have to compare rates, but I suspect if fourth night free is available in conjunction with LP/STARS amenities, that should be best.
Thank you for the reply, Mike.

LP still exists - perhaps till the end of the year before transitioning to STARS.

The agent at Citi/Aspire was able to book the LP rate (which includes a fourth night free) and told me it was combinable with the Citi fourth night free. What the agent stressed was that how the fourth night from Citi is applied depends on how the Prince Gallery applies theirs - as an average of three nights over four, a rebate after checkout, etc.

Interesting. It seems that you should get a rebate from Citi for one night’s average room rate, i.e. total cost divided by four nights. That actually works to your benefit if that is the case.

I do believe that the prestige rebate was changed to average rate, because previously it was the fourth night’s rate. That meant that if hotel offered third night free, then fourth night was also rebated, meaning four nights for the price of two. Or, one could book with the fourth night at a very high rate, such as New Year’s Eve, and have that night’s rate rebated.

I still do not understand how Citi is able to offer this benefit, which can be very valuable.

Did you ask them to check a specific rate code when making the booking?

If this is consistently possible, would work for all LP properties. That means breakfast, upgrade, possibly additional amenity in conjunction with fourth night rebate, as opposed to room only.

I asked for the Luxury Privileges rate when I called Aspire. They confirmed it was available and bookable. Since it also allows for cancellation 48 hours prior to the check in date I reserved it for now. Looking at my reservation online, it mentions the LP rate and associated benefits.

Citi Prestige allows 4th night free rates if the average nightly rate is the lowest offered for the specific room category.

If the rate qualifies, they give 25% off the rate (before taxes/fees) of the 3 nights you are paying. (Ex: $1k/nt x (4nts - 1 nt) = $3k. Your discount will be $750.)

Citi is changing their terms next year to only two uses per year for the 4th night free program.

That still makes the card very worthwhile. The annual fee is far more than offset by this and other benefits.

I agree and we actually have decided to keep both my husband's card and mine since we will more than offset the AF. I thought it was interesting that an Aspire agent gave my son the runaround when he was booking Amanemu the other day. He was told that they needed to research whether or not the property was eligible and that they would get back to him "in a few days." (Still no response) Very interesting that the 2 use limit goes into effect on 11/1

Fortunately someone here helpfully suggested the old "HUACA" and he was able to book successfully.

Not yet in that location, but I used to be at Musashi’s previous restaurant every week. Sushi does not get any better than that, and he is a very nice person. They couldn’t have found anyone better for Aman Tokyo.
