Perhaps not strictly on-topic for this forum so I won't make a new thread, but I wanted to ask if anyone here was an owner of any Aman Residences or had looked into typical costs and associated terms and conditions. My lifestyle is geographically very flexible and I often have time between work when I would love to be able to be more economically efficient with my choice of location. It does require a bit of a bet on the future of the Aman group which I've nervous about, but the properties have such high sunk costs that I assume they should be relatively safe in some decent form.

I could only find descriptions on pretty sketchy looking websites which describe properties starting at $3M which means they're maybe not on my radar for the foreseeable future (especially if mortgages are not readily available), but I thought it was worthwhile me doing some due diligence. Any PMs with info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not, but know a few who are - can PM you.

Of course this does depend a lot on your location etc, but I would very, very much suggest Amanoi as a safe bet.

I thought the last round at Pulo started at $7m. It is considerably beyond my financial capabilities so I didn’t pursue it to determine ongoing costs, revenue, etc.

wow, i guess makes sense, re supply
think 7 SE were much lower, but not sure

seem to recall some figures in pulo and zoe finances but it was not clear what percentage of deposits the amounts reflected

zoe had a business plan that i linked, but i did not save, and its long gone

curious re mention of noi, and only noi

There's a 4-bedroom on sale for about USD 12m. It's been on the market since 2016.

We’ll be back at Giri to report in late Jan for my bday. With Aussie friends. And lots of Grange. And perhaps a few fellow FTers who also are trying to join us. Surely, that will qualify as quite festive. And with me there, quite flirtatious.

I'd be dropping everything to show up (any excuse to get out to Giri, right??), but I'm treating myself to 4 new Amans (Gani, Le Mézélin, Galla, Wella) in the next month already. Have a great time and (very early) Happy Birthday!

Out of curiosity, are you staying at the Mesa Home? I've never gone to Giri with a large enough group to warrant it, but it looks stunning. If anyone has stayed previously, how did you like it? Thinking about options for next summer...

Paul Linder - was at Amanpuri for last couple of years (formerly at COMO Shambhala).

Thanks. No,we are staying in just a regular Desert View Suite—we’re bringing our dog, so we have to stay on the Desert wing.
