I have booked The Residence. I decided to stay in the Garden Villa for more pool privacy - the other ocean view rooms don't seem that private.

They do, but construction hasn't begun yet. If you read their website it says 1br villa w pool.

I somehow must be missing that when I go to rooms/suites on the website because I don't see that at all. But I'll be looking forward to a villa with pool, indeed, if that's true!

The PH website still indicates no villa. Are you sure one is to be constructed?

bhrubin, i think PH website changed, it could have been quite a while ago. for example >

remember owner may want to eventually turn it into FS, did with serengeti
although maybe HPL helped with serengeti but has no interest in zanzibar
