Umm.. whatever happened with Sandra W? She left Aman altogether for... Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui! As Hotel Manager... I do wonder why she would give up Aman and a GM position. Trouble in paradise? Granted the Koh Samui property is one of R-C's more interesting developments lately, but still it is interesting...
Comparing Aman to Ritz-Carlton is almost impossible, Aman has a culture with very intuitive processes and few SOPs, quite the opposite of R-C which is very rigid and lots of corp structures.
Who is in charge at Kila now? So many changes!

Sandra was back in Australia for a bit , Canberra & later Melbourne area . For her daughter ' s sake too .

The intuitive processes have changed with , I gather , many SOPs now . Many non Aman ethos ( original ) types in HQ now who do not get what Aman was like before ..

i heard another current GM (not 'long time') will be leaving
hope flakelar and white are 'ok' though perhaps joy could take over for flakelar
perhaps some other 'past aman' like Ernst will return to aman
anyone heard whether kyoto is definitely under construction?

No past GMs will be returning
Too many changes and most GMs have moved to greener pastures.Deleted my above comment as I couldn't find anything online to see if the Olivier thing was official. (I know what happened but don't want to cause drama here by posting about things before they are made known to the public)
