Question Where to stay in London with young children?

We're looking to stay in August in London with our three children (7, 6, 6). We don't need a lot of beds as 1 or 2 always sleep with us anyway (so we do need a king bed!), so just a single sofa, sofa-bed, or roll-away is sufficient.

But I'm finding on a lot of websites, the limit seems to be 3 people per room.

We'd like a good location, close to a tube station, possibly a suite so the kids can go to bed while we sit in a sitting area. The Montague on the Gardens came up on Trip Advisor, as did One Aldwych, not sure if either of those would be a good option?

Amenities I'm interested in are a good breakfast, larger room, and good location. Maybe a pool. Don't need spa services, or a butler, etc.

Holiday Inn Mayfair is a decent option - surprisingly big rooms with 2 beds in many of them, great location. Hotel in need of a refurb though. You are opposite The Ritz!

51 Buckingham Gate is a great hotel for families. We had a two bedroom suite with our kids last summer. It had a living room, kitchen and washer/dryer as well. Bathrooms were too small, but we had a great stay otherwise.

The location was perfect and the service was outstanding.

You might try the Atheneum on Picadilly. They have flats in a townhouse adjacent to the hotel.
