You won't find dedicated butlers at almost any property unless you book a multi-room accommodation / presidential type. Lots of Mexican properties offer a butler service, but it is shared among a group of rooms and really isn't anything more than a dedicated point person to quarterback your requests. Experience at Mayakoba at both Fairmont and Rosewood and Punta Mita backs this up. Others are free to disagree.
At Fairmont Mayakoba our butler was 'shared', but checked in with us at least twice a day (more if he was confirming reservations or excursions for us). Brought us our towels for our deck in the morning, set up our beachside lounge chairs.

Our oceanfront plunge pool was a highlight for us as well, and got a lot of use.

Overall the Fairmont here may not be to the top luxury standards (a lot of the property is much more generic), but the Oceanfront Suites were spectacular.

As far as I know, British people tend to take their butlers with them.

and of course the nanny et al. I see an increasing number of families travelling with their nanny and not only in 'luxury' hotels. Also in premium cabins on flights.

I have been wanting to go to BT Cabo Marques ever since it opened, but man is it a hard place to get to.

I think there is only one flight a day from the states to ACA through Houston now and everything else goes through Mexico City.

So much easier to get to CUN or PVR for a short trip so I always seem to give up on it.

Can you please tell me how you got upgraded to a villa at the St Regis Punta Mita? I'm trying to do the same. Thank you!

It probably helped that it was a one night stay.

Reach out direct to negotiate, have good SPG status or book with a SPG Luxury Privileges/Virtuoso agent to handle.

I booked a higher level room and was promised an upgrade beyond. They were fully booked the first night and had to keep me at the level I booked. This was done the second night and was a great kindness far beyond any expectation. It was amazing.

Thought I'd take a crack at making a list because I recently have converted to the concept of resort villa with private pool. In my scenario I am discounting plunge pools and focusing only on Mexico and Central America. Most offer butler service. Add your own venues.

We adore Zihua and environs. Now that there no longer are non-stops from the SF Bay Area, it is off of our radar. Could go back on if American flew there with its luxury tarmac connection service. But it does not, sigh.

We have Alaska nonstop LAX-ZIH but only on Tues and Sat. We likely will return using this service...though we also are hopeful that it will open to more days and/or SNA-ZIH service may start on Southwest.
