I tried to reverse the trip but it was too hard. You can fly CXR-SGN-DAD to avoid that flight, but it's double the price.

My only concern with Amanoi is that room is a studio. Other than the PH Hadahaa we haven't stayed in a room without a separate living and bedroom.

We are very delighted to welcome you. With regards to your request, please find our offer as follows:
  • Stay Four, Pay Three nights.
    • Room upgrade at time of booking
      • Daily Breakfast
        • One round trip airport transfers
          • Champagne on arrival
            • Daily afternoon tea at Main Restaurant
              • One round trip airport transfers

The upgrade, confirmed at time of booking surprised me and I immediately booked it!

Now considering staying for five nights. Avoiding the VN 06:25 departure from CRX by flying back to SGN instead of DAD.

Thank you all for your advice. We're very, very excited.
I'm glad to hear you got a great deal. Now you see what I meant when I said Aman is often generous with upgrades

If you have time, could stay eight nights for the price of six...

Well , if you are thinking of Amans as if they are like a PH , you have no idea that Amans are way above PHs , totally different league .
You definitely do not know what you are missing .

You can always stay at a villa at No'i if you think the ( pool ) pavillon is too small
Do you really need a separate living area ?

You will have a lovely time ! As will any posting who are going !

Just set up four nights here for Sept 2018 for a part of our honeymoon. Reservation process was a dream and got a pretty good deal. We will be staying in the Mountain Pool Villa

Not what you're asking, but his instagram account is worth following. He posts wonderful, evocative pictures of the property. If you haven't gone, his pictures will make you want to go. If you have gone, they bring back wonderful memories.

When did the new GM start? If he was there in April, then I can say that not once during our five night stay did he take the time to introduce himself to us.

No one said anything to me being away, and I did see an older white man walking around to a few tables at a meal or two when we were there spending time speaking with guests, discussing activities, etc

Yeah I'd be aggrieved too if that happened to me.

Here's a June 2017 interview with the new GM that includes his picture.
