Ritz Carlton Cobalt Card

I was kibitzing with some RC insiders, and one of them mentioned some grandee having a Cobalt Card, and when I asked about that, all of them clammed up and switched topics. Any idea what this is about?

invite status is sometimes >
hotel owners
those who direct spend to company

RC likes the word cobalt - one of many examples is destination club referring to cobalt points, and timing of trademark and the following might line up with card, but if it does match up, its NOT a benefit program

because - residence owners (and NOT fractionals / destination club) get confirmed upgrade to base suite then further upgrades from there

amazingly only this on google >
